Mike, who is also a scout for Prince George in the BCHL league, has many connections and can assist in placement for future Jr A/B players, as well as college scouts/coaches. TRI-VALLEY ANNOUNCES HEAD COACHING SELECTIONS FOR THE 2008-2009 SEASONThe Tri-Valley Minor Hockey Association is pleased to announce the selection of the following head coaches for the 2008-2009 season. Returning as head coach of the Midget 18's is Mike Holmes, and Randy Stewart will once again lead the Midget 16's. At the Peewee level, John Young returns to lead the "A" team and Bill Davis will guide the "B" team. The Squirts will be lead by Joe Carranza, who moves up from the Mite X level. Two new changes in the coaching lineup are expected to bring a new level of enthusiasm to the club after a very successful 2007-2008 season. New head coaches include Doug Miller at Mite X and Jim Gemmell with the Bantams. The new coaching lineup keeps our hockey club among the best in Northern California with a balance of excellent veteran experience and new and exciting leadership. Good luck gentlemen. Our association thanks you for your commitment to making our upcoming season a success and we look forward to seeing you on the ice. |
