JV Demons win C Division
Demons beat Oakland for Championship
Demons go 11-5-1 in an impressive season winning the Championship 6-3 vs Oakland Tech Bulldogs.
To say it was an intense game is an understatment. The Tri-Valley JV Demons beat the Oakland Tech Bulldogs to take the C division Championship last Sunday, but the score does not indicate how difficult a win this was.
Oakland Tech is a tough team. They play hard and many on the roster are much older, bigger and faster than our Demons who are largely made up of first year JV skaters.
But, though the Demons might be younger and smaller, they are a resiliant team who battles hard and never give up. They found themselves down many times during this game, but fought back and in the end outlasted Oakland.
Having lost to Oakland 3 times during the regular season by wide margins, it was hard to believe going into this game the Demons would come out champs, but the lesson learned is to put the last game out of your mind and focus on what is in front of you. Congrats Demons you did it and made Tri-Valley Minor Hockey proud.
